Rm14s Tapa cloth

On Wednesday and Thursday last week we were lucky to have Mrs Demshey in our class. When Mrs D was in we made a tapa cloth, a tapa cloth is a cloth that is common in Rarotonga,Fiji,Samoa and Hawaii. How we made it was we grabbed our paper and screw it up carefully and then flatten it out (we did that 10 times). Then Mrs D ironed it out for us.  After we choose out pattern some we pretty easy but some people choose to challenge them selves and did one of the harder ones. Later on we stuck all our artwork together.
Here is a pic of our finished tapa:

  1. I really like your tapa cloth. It looks amazing and you all did a great job. It was even better to see it in person at the student led conference. Well done Rm 14.
